Leadership Team
Willis S Huffman, Senior Pastor
A native of Dustin, Oklahoma, Pastor Willis Huffman has always cultivated a love and sense of compassion for others. As a young boy, he demonstrated a spirit of devotion and cared for the needs of others. These early years established the foundation for the life and the ministry of a humble servant of God.
Over 40 years ago, Pastor Huffman accepted the call to ministry. As a founding member of Agape Christian Fellowship, he has always been actively involved in leading people to Christ. His passion for God has led him to lead various ministries which include Street Witnessing, Outreach and Missions, and Community Outreach at Agape Christian Fellowship. He has served as an Invitational Counselor and Head Counselor.
Maintaining the fundamental context of scripture, Pastor Huffman was mentored by Dr. Edward L. Haygood (Pastor Emeritus and Founder of Agape Christian Fellowship) and has developed an extensive knowledge of the Greek and Hebrew languages. Prior to becoming pastor, he has taught Adult Sunday School and led Thursday Night Bible Study. He has ministered the gospel throughout the country.
Pastor Willis retired from Pepperdine University after 28 years of service. He has received several achievement awards including the President’s “Unsung Hero” Award. He was called upon numerous times to pray prior to the university’s faculty meetings. In 1998 he started a Bible Study Program at Pepperdine University. He facilitated the program over two decades until his retirement.
Pastor Huffman lives a life devoted to the Lord and seeks to inspire and influence the Body of Christ to worship God in spirit and in truth. Being a student of the scripture, he actively encourages a passion for prayer, fasting, and meditation with the Lord. His desire for each believer is to know God, his word, and purpose for their life. He intends to continue to lead people to Christ, teach and encourage them to walk in victory and power while experiencing the fullness of God’s promises.
With faith, he continues to be a vessel for God and is supported by his wife, Dianne, their three children and their spouses along with four grandchildren.
